As a suspended electrical appliance, correct installation directly affects safety, stability, and service life.

Ceiling height: For standard homes (≥2.8m), regular fan lights are suitable. The lowest point should be ≥2.2m above the floor. For lower ceilings, choose flush-mount or ultra-thin models.

Load-bearing capacity: Fan lights vibrate slightly during operation and must be installed on solid ceilings or structural beams. Plaster ceilings require reinforcement. The mounting structure should support at least three times the fan’s weight.

Electrical work should be done by a professional. Proper wiring, insulation, and grounding prevent electric shock and short circuits.

During installation:

  1. Secure the mounting bracket firmly.
  2. Attach the motor and blades evenly to avoid imbalance.
  3. Connect the light and control system.
  4. Test for shaking, noise, or overheating.

During use:

  • Do not touch moving blades or hang objects on the fan.
  • For children’s rooms, choose invisible or bladeless designs.
  • Clean and maintain only after disconnecting power.
  • Check screws every 3–6 months.

Proper installation allows safe operation for 8–10 years or longer.
